Prof Dr Durk van Willigen – President
Durk van Willigen holds a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology. As a professor in radionavigation systems he headed a research team of staff, Ph.D. and M.Sc. students. Mr. van Willigen is the inventor of the Eurofix concept. Through Reelektronika he shared his knowledge on satellite and terrestrial radionavigation systems and radar with numerous commercial and governmental partners. In 1996, the International Loran Association awarded Dr. Van Willigen the Medal of Merit. In 1999 he became Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation in the United Kingdom. He was the recipient of the 1999 Thurlow Award of the United States Institute of Navigation for his Outstanding contribution to the science of Navigation and of the Gold Medal of the Royal Institute of Navigation. Dr. Van Willigen is a member of the Advisory Board of the Netherlands Institute of Navigation and is a director of the International Loran Association. Currently, Dr. Van Willigen is full time president of Reelektronika and chairman of the GAUSS Research Foundation.
Cees de Wit, M.Sc.EE. MBA Non Executive Director
Cees de Wit holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering of Delft University and received a MBA of the Erasmus University in Rotterdam in 1977. He worked 17 years with Philips in all areas of telecommunication and 15 years in electronic components and semiconductors with Philips and more recently with Vishay Intertechnology. Cees de Wit brings to Reelektronika a wealth of international and commercial experience. He lived 9 years in Asia (Singapore, Indonesia) and 7 years in Germany and has pursued business interest on a world wide basis. Cees de Wit has been involved with Reelektronika as Shareholder and Consultant since the early eighties. Since 2008 Cees de Wit is also acting as a non executive director for Reelektronika.
